Blog for Profits, Introduction 1
Introduction
You are about to read the Blog for Profits. This Workshop will show you how to go from nothing to a money-making blogger. You'll know the whole process of making money by blogging.
This blog series and training has seven (7) parts or sections.
If you want to make money through blogging, creating a popular blog is the key to success. If your blog receives very little traffic, you will not have much success monetizing it. No matter which method you use to make money from your blog, you will find the most success if you have a large readership. Because of this, making your blog popular and growing readership should be one of your primary concerns.
Bullet point
– the number of readers matters.
-The larger the number of readers of your blogs, the more people will buy from you when you come to make an offer.
There are many ways to make your blog more popular. You should first consider your audience and who you are writing for. You should always write about something that interests you and that will interest others. You may think your new kitten is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but there are probably not many other people who want to read a blog about it. It is best to find a niche audience large enough to support a wide readership but not too vague.
Bullet Point
- Be genuinely interested in your topic, which will reflect in your writing.
One of the great things about blogging is that you do not have to be a professional writer to have a popular blog. You must obey standard grammatical rules and at least be able to compose coherent sentences, but you do not have to be a highly skilled writer.
Blog readers are looking for interesting, relevant topics to read, not the work of Shakespeare. Make sure what you write is interesting, edgy, or even controversial. Popular blogs are never boring and add value to readers' lives through information or entertainment. Make sure your blog adds something of value to your reader’s life; otherwise, you will not develop a large fan base.
Bullet Point
- Ensure to obey standard grammatical rules.
- Write beautifully to make reading enjoyable.
Whether you blog on a blogging network or have an independently hosted blog, you must ensure your blog is designed well. Content is indeed king, and if a blog has great content, it may receive lots of traffic even though it is ugly; having a well-designed blog that is not ugly or annoying will help to drive repeat traffic. You want your blog to look unique but not too unique. Keep with internet formalities such as blue links and use large font for headings.
If possible, you should break your post into small paragraphs, each with a headline, as internet readers tend to scan the screen for relevant information rather than read everything word for word. Ensure your colours do not contrast too harshly and the text is easy to read. Clever design will make your blog aesthetically pleasing and make readers more likely to return and remain on your page.
Bullet Point
- Content is king; ensure your blog is informative.
- Keep to short paragraphs with headlines for easy scanning and reading.
Watch out for the next blog in the series. Put your skills immediately into practice by posting a short blog on this Social Media platform about any related food and health issues and solutions.
